For your convenience our beers can be
delivered to your doorstep by League of beers.

For us, brewing according to the Reinheitsgebot, the German purity law of 1487, is a matter of pride. We do not compromise on quality or settle for second best when selecting our ingredients.

It’s only from the best that we can create the best.

At CBC, the choice of ingredients forms the first step to creating exceptional craft beer. We take great care to source the right malted barley grains. We then select the right hops to refine the taste. Only the purest spring water is good enough for our beer.

Although we source local grains, some of our ingredients prefer a cooler climate. We use our Swedish connections to find barley that grows slowly in the frosty Nordic landscape and blossoms into something very special. Occasionally we keep an eye out for unique hops that can only be found in specific, ancient beer-making regions of the world.

Our beers all have one ingredient in common — the natural spring water of Paarl Mountain. This crystal-clear rainwater has been filtered through granite for centuries and is without doubt the most unique component of our beer.

Making an exceptional beer requires another essential component — craft.

Although there are many ways to brew beer, creating a truly exceptional beer is a refined art. Even with the finest ingredients and state-of-the-art technology at our disposal, it is the skill and passion of our team that guarantees the final result.

As with all great arts, brewing is a lifestyle. From the malting, milling, mashing and lautering, to the boiling, fermenting, conditioning and filtering, each step is seen as important as the next.
